Thanks to the company ´HOPPESCHLIFF`, we were able to reduce our staff and tool costs in the area maintenance by an average of 28%

Henkel KGaA was able to reduce its staff and tool costs by almost a third and therefore created more liquidity which they then invested in marketing.

 

Other companies who profited from the new developments in the area of warm and cold drum drying for starch were able to produce similar results which are based substantially on the following facts:

 

 

  • Up to 15 % prolonged manufacturing capacity and reduced ste-up time due to increased durability (scrapers)
  • The utilization of the knife service “all inclusive” creates new potentials for exhausting staff resources or staff rationalisation
  • Continual exchange of worn blades with optimal current replacements. Stock reports and control are no longer necessary.
  • Reduction of costs is evenly distributed over the financial year as the procurement of large amounts of new blades disappears.
